Wrestling Bridge

Going upside down is only crazy if you never ever do it. With the right foundation and practice… it’s just another option to move through the world.

The Wrestling Bridge is an exercise that predates the Pilates method and is—to this day—a common drill for neck and back strength in the fighting world. It’s no coincidence that Joseph Pilates—a former boxer, boxing teacher, and boxing school owner—would find a way to incorporate this exercise into his work (as shown here on the Reformer).
