360° Pilates Online is a comprehensive education resource, a digital exhibit of the original work, and the ultimate manual for the Pilates system. We offer the largest video catalog for the original method as well as the slickest online experience in Pilates education available today.
We are committed to support you in your ongoing development as a student (and teacher) of the Pilates method.
Alas… we’re not a teacher training program, an online course with a finish line, nor a bridge program. We don’t extend credentials (though we are working on extending continuing education credits), and we don’t stream classes or workouts.
We believe that apprenticeship, mentorship, and continuing education are experiences that should only exist in the real world (preferably between human beings who are in the same room and have each others phone number).
The good news: we know amazing teachers and schools who utilize our online resources to power their Teacher Training and Mentorship programs. We’d be happy to put you in touch with the right people!
360° Pilates Online is the right platform for anyone that loves Pilates (but, we’re biased). Are you…
… a fully qualified teacher, working day and night?
Our online platform was designed to introduce a new way of thinking through the Pilates system, help you keep track of the entire method, and offer ongoing inspiration in your everyday work.
… a teacher in training, figuring it all out?
The sooner you understand how the method fits together as a cohesive whole, the quicker you will find ownership within what may now seem like a ton of orders, exercises, and protocols. With 360° Pilates, you can literally click your way through the Pilates method and draw lots of meaningful connections between the exercises. Additionally, our workshops provide a safe space to explore the work for your own body without the stress to perform for an exam at the end. If your Teacher Training program doesn’t utilize our platform yet, tell them about us!
… an enthusiast student of the Pilates method?
If observing and practicing Pilates is your thing, you’re in the right place. While 360° Pilates is predominantly dedicated and devised for the Pilates professional, you are absolutely welcome to take your enthusiasm to the next level by perusing our resources. Keep in mind that this is not a teacher training or online course that gives you credentials to teach Pilates. When you’re ready to take that step, contact us and we will do our best to point you to a great program!
… looking for a good online workout?
We love a great streaming Pilates class like anybody else, but alas that’s something we’re not offering.
The original work contains countless variations and escalations of exercises across different pieces of apparatus. With well over 400 videos, we have captured the vast majority of exercises that were demonstrably formulated and perpetuated by Joseph Pilates and his students. This includes repertoire and apparatus often left out by training programs, such as the Neck Stretcher and Arm Chair repertoire.
That said, we will continue to add variations and archival exercises over time!
We break each exercise down and provide descriptions and helpful information to string the Pilates system together. The videos, however, are silent; there are no perfect words to cue an exercise, so we decided not to imply otherwise. We are confident that you will find all the details and language you need as you study the information we provide with each exercise!
We proudly work with apparatus made to specifications that are closest to the apparatus Joseph Pilates worked with in his studio. The apparatus you see throughout the catalog is made by the following manufacturers, in no particular order:
• Gratz Industries
• Pilates Designs
• Pilates Lineage
• Pilates Scandinavia
If you work with apparatus of a different make, the exercises may feel quite different. We provide information on how to successfully work with non-traditional apparatus and welcome your questions if you get stuck!
Joseph Pilates was quite prolific in trying to document his work in film, photography, and writing. In fact, a video catalog of the work is not far from what he intended to accomplish himself. In 1957, he wrote:
“Like any pianist’s art, Contrology cannot be preserved—or even more than vaguely limned—on the printed page. It must also be both seen and heard: there is no other way.”
He referred to the creation of a video catalog documenting his work, a project he dedicated a lot of time to but never reached completion.
Teacher Trainers and studio owners, right this way! One of the many goals of the 360° Pilates platform is to make the original work accessible and future-proof for future generations of professionals and enthusiasts. We are currently working on piloting our Teacher Training Support Program, enabling select Teacher Training programs around the world to utilize 360° Pilates Online as a supplemental resource and manual.
Our other partnering opportunity is for studio owners wishing to bring a cohesive teaching approach to their staff. Both of these partner programs are currently being fleshed out and explored with a few select training programs and studios. If you are interested in learning more about future opportunities, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “Partnering opportunities”.

Your device is (probably) working just fine – our exercise videos have NO SOUND. We decided to let the work speak for itself instead.
However, you should be able to hear sound on our tutorial and site tour videos. If you don’t, please follow the steps outlined in the previous question.
